Music

Music plays an important role here at First Baptist Mims.  We use music to help worshippers express their devotion to God and to bring Him glory.  The music ministry is a wonderful place to connect with others and serve the Lord.  There are a variety of ways to serve in the music ministry for vocalist and instrumentalists.  

 

Our choir helps lead the congregation to the throne of God in corporate worship during our Traditional Service on Sunday morning.  The Choir is made up of volunteers ages 13 and up.  If you can play an instrument, there is room to serve as well.  We usually do cantatas for Christmas, Easter, and the Fourth of July.  These are very special times of worship for our congregation and the choir.  Our choir practice time is 5 p.m. on Sunday evenings.  We would love for you to come and join us!

 

We use vocalists, acoustic guitar, bass, electric guitar, keyboard, and drums to lead the congregation in worship and bring God glory.  This is a great place for both vocalists and instrumentalists to use their gifts to lead others in worship and bring glory to God.  Our practice time is 8 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
